We are seeking a Program Coordinator who will assist the Program Manager to coordinate and implement the day-to-day functions, policy, procedures and quality assurance practices within the Adult Day Activities and Community Connections Programs. Provide support and coordination for participants to join activities and receive services in community settings that are defined by the participant and his or her Individual Service Plan and Individualized Personal Plan.

DUTIES

         Support the manager with employee payroll and mileage records online, and manage payroll accuracy and approvals

         Oversee program statistics

         Assist Program Manager with Individual Service Plans

         Supervise volunteers and visitors as needed

         Assist with requesting and scheduling substitutes 

         Assist with risk assessments for participants

         Update client database 

         Track expenses and expense requests

         Coordinate program productivity tracking

          Assist with scheduling and the daily groups list

          Coordinate daily/monthly schedule with Community Connections Developer

          Record and ensure accuracy of billing hours for participants (as needed) 

          Complete incident reports and other documentation relating to termination, attendance, billing, and statistics. 

          Comply with Consumers' Rights as well as with Abilities United's agency and program policies and  quality assurance standards

          Be available to substitute for Adult Services Specialists as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

 Education: BA/BS in Social Services preferred

Experience:With BA/BS, minimum 2 years experience working with persons that have developmental disabilities, preferably within residential and/or independent living situations. In addition, must have solid administrative skills and be able to understand and implement departmental operations and procedures including computer proficiency including experience with software such as MSWord and Excel.

 Substitution: Combination of High School Diploma or equivalent & 4 + years experience in lieu of BA/BS may be considered 

 Certification:Standard 1st Aid with Adult, Child and Infant CPR (may be obtained post-hire)

 Other: Must communicate clearly & effectively, verbally & in writing; project a professional & positive image at all times; must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, a clean DMV Report and current automobile insurance. 

 Pre-Employment Requirements: Clearance with the Department of Justice by completing a background check consisting of having fingerprints processed by appropriate law enforcement agencies.

 Post-Employment Requirements: Physical, 2-step Tb test. Maintain all job related certification requirements.
